Brooklyn had a fun, traumatizing day at school on Monday. She was running at recess and smacked her mouth right into a bar. She said she fell down and blacked out for just a few seconds. She woke to a lot of pain and blood... and no front tooth. Poor girl. She was in shock the rest of the day. David took her right to the dentist where they built a temporary tooth to make sure her tooth is okay before they do a permanent one. She was REALLY swollen and in pain!!! And YES... the tooth fairy did come, but instead of leaving traditonal money... she was left some fun tooth fairy coupons!!!

Oh my goodness poor girl! I am glad to hear that she is doing well! If only that would have happened in 5 more years we could have fixed it for free! Tell her that we are glad she is doing well and miss her bunches! Love you!
oohhhhhh, poor girl!! Dave says like father like daughter - does she have tooth chips in her lip?? Ouch, he just told me the story. That sounds terrible.
Oh my! Poor Brooklyn -- just reading your post made me shiver and say "ouch" out loud! I hope she is healing and feeling much better by now. Give her a hug from us.
